Card sent from Easter Island to Chile. This card, issued by Correos de Chile in 1999, shows the seven Moais of Ahu Akivi. According to tradition, these Moais represent the seven explorers that Hotu Matua sent to discover Easter Island. In fact, they are oriented to the West, so they look to Polynesia.
