Poike Point and Hanga-Hotuiti plain. Poike Point is the place where Hanau Eepe sought refuge before being attacked by Hanau Momoko. Across Poike Point, there still can be seen the remains of a ditch which according to legend was used by Hanau Eepe as defensive position during the civil war that marked the beginning of decadence in Easter Island.
Ahu Tongariki which is the largest Ahu of Easter Island is near the sea, in Hanga-Hotuiti.
