Set of four Easter Island stamps issued in year 2000. Top left stamp shows an Ao (ceremonial oar) which is a symbol of power and a Rapa Nui dancer. Top right stamp shows a Moai Pa Paa (wooden carved Moai) and a Tangata Manu (Bird Man) petroglyph from Rano Kau volcano. Bottom left stamp shows a Matatoa (warrior) and a Moai Kava Kava (another kind of wooden carved Moai). Bottom right stamp shows a modern day Rapa Nui dancer and a detail of a Rongo Rongo tablet, the unkown old writing of Rapa Nui people.
